In 2008, a non-profit veterinary organization was established in Finland.
Veterinarians who have been involved in or who are interested in working in developing countries decided to set up a new NGO called “Association of Finnish veterinarians for Development Cooperation”.
This organization provides a forum for Finnish veterinarians to broaden their knowledge and experience in development cooperation.
As a nonprofit organization our activities and projects are dependent on membership fees and donations. All assets are used according to our values and in order to promote animal and human health.
You can support our mission by applying regular or supportive membership. In order to apply as a regular member you have to be
-Licensed veterinarian in Finland
-Veterinary student studying in Finland

What does it cost?
The membership fee for the year 2018 is 15€. You can pay the fee to the following account: FI44 5680 0020 3347 57. Please inform your name and your e-mail address in connection with the payment.
Private persons and legitimate organizations and companies may also apply for a supportive membership. The membership is valid for one year. We will promote the membership by publishing cooperative partners on our website and social media.
